Discover the moonlit market of Beware, a sea-lashed town, where curious contraptions and unforgiving villagers shape wild wishes and punish rule breakers. Peek beneath the surface into a watery fantasy world where our tale unfolds; the story of twin sisters whose hunger for something more could be their undoing. Set in and around the spectacular Eddystone Reef tank and combining circus, dance, music, science and underwater action, The Fish Hearted Bride is a unique show for adults and brave children.

The show has been created in collaboration with children and young people from Plymouth. We recommend it's appropriate for children aged 8 years and over, but we are pleased to welcome younger children. The show contains scenes of mild peril, but no violence, nudity, sexual scenes, or swearing.

    Hi,
I’ve just read about the “Fish Hearted Bride” being performed in the National Aquarium, Plymouth, in the Herald newspaper, and went straight on to purchase tickets for my grandchildren and myself. Unfortunately, all the shows are totally sold out; most disappointing. I was wondering if you intend putting on any more, as it is obvously very popular.
    Please advise. Thank you.
    Regards Sue

I saw the show last night (14th) and was amazed!! It was exciting, moving and the cast were brilliant. I didn’t know what to expect when I booked but it surpassed everything. It was very well written and performed and I have told everyone about it. Please do another show soon.
    Thankyou very much

I went to the evening showing on Saturday 16th Feb and thoroughly enjoyed the show from start to finish. It kept us engrossed right through till the dramatic end. The actors were all excellent and the scenery was creatively incorporated into the story. The music was original and added nicely to the performance. This show appeals to a wide audience and I would definitely recommend it! It’s a shame there was not more seating available as we knew people who wanted to come, but the shows were all sold out. Thanks for a great evening.

I went to see the show twice and really enjoyed it. It was original and thought provoking and the perfect show to see with your loved one on Valentine’s Day, and with the children on another occasion. The music was very well chosen and the choir were simply brilliant. The venue could not have been more appropriate or incorporated into the performance more than it was. A beautiful show, inspirational performances by the actors, and truly a must see for anyone who was not fortunate enough to witness this magical experience.
